Qualifications for Admission
In addition to the general qualifications required for admission to the Graduate School, applicants should normally hold a bachelor’s degree with honours (preferably Second Upper Honours or above) in a field related to biomedical or life sciences.
All applicants must also fulfill the “English Language Proficiency Requirement” as stipulated by the Graduate School before being considered for admission. Please refer to the “Postgraduate Prospectus” or Homepage: (http://www.gs.cuhk.edu.hk/) for details on such requirement.

Programme
MPhil Stream
The Stream is research-oriented. Students should inform themselves in depth about the fields of knowledge relevant to the topic of their projects.
Full-time students normally take two years to fulfill all the requirements of the Stream, and the courses required are listed as below:

(EN) In addition to satisfying the Stream requirements and other requirements as prescribed by the Division, each MPhil student is required to submit a thesis based on his/her research for examination and pass an oral defence of the thesis for graduation.
